Obituary of Jessie Stringer

1915 - 2011 Formerly of Etobicoke and Orillia, Jessie passed away at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo on Friday, September 9, 2011 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her parents, William and Jessie (Traill) Drever; first husband, Nellis Cole; second husband, Leslie Stringer; son, Ralph J. Cole; one great-grandson; brothers, Cyril, Bert, Dick, and Eric; and sister, Jean Branchflower. Jay is survived by her daughter, Lynn Allen of Kitchener, grandsons, Andy, Scott, and Geoff, and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Jay was a member of Trinity United Church in Kitchener and a Graduate Home Economist from the Olds Agricultural College. At her request, Jean has been cremated and there will be no visitation or memorial service.
