Hayley Rempel posted a condolence
Friday, September 16, 2011
To the Seymour Family, My name is Hayley Rempel and I am filling in for EJ Manarey at Queensmount. I started at the school late August, and sadly did not have the opportunity to meet Larry before he passed. I can not tell you how many wonderful stories, anecdotes and thoughts have been shared with me over the last week, from students, parents and teachers. It sounds like he was quite the character with a wonderful heart, sense of humour and a love for his job and school. My condolences to your family during this difficult time. He will be very missed in the Queensmount community. Sincerely, Hayley Rempel

I had the privilege to work with Larry at Queensmount School. He was the most co-operative, upbeat and truly caring person that you would ever hope to meet. Many was the day that he would drop into my room to share a joke or an anecdote. If I asked for assistance, he would help no matter how busy he was. He took great pride in his work and the whole school reflected that. He truly cared about the students and all the staff at the school. I will always remember Larry with great fondness.

My name is Gurmit, I am Larry's neighbour. I have not words to appreciate and explained what Larry was? I can only say that Larry was super human being who shared others feelings.Recently my wife had a heart surgery, he everyday asked me about her progress in the hospital. Lately I talked to him on Monday evening. Within more than ten years in his neighbourhood, Seymour family was very kind and helpful to us. Finally, I can only say that Larry was the best neigbourgh, the best husband, the best father and best uncle for my kids. May he rest in peace in heaven. Gurmit S. Saroya - 660 Fern Road, Waterloo
