Obituary of Rita Ditner

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital of Grand River Health Centre on Monday, September 12, 2011, at age 89. Dear wife of the late Harvey Ditner (1992). Beloved mother of Elaine Ditner of Kitchener and Diane (Dale) Gagne-Runions of Waterloo; loving mother-in-law of Wayne Boniface. Cherished grandmother of Jeff, Sherri-Lyn, Andrea, Jamie (Christine) of Fort McMurray, Chris (Sarah) and Jeff and 6 great-grandchildren. Rita will also be dearly missed by her brother Cyril (Carol) Stortz. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rita was a long time parishoner of St. Agnes RC Church and a devoted member of the C.W.L. Predeceased by her parents John and Lucy Stortz; daughter Sharon Boniface (1996); a sister Madeline Lang and brothers Leonard, Francis, Mervyn; son-in-law Yvon Gagne.(1986) Friends are invited to share their memories of Rita with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday September 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 17th at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery.
