Obituary of Lavina Kraft

After a long and full life, Lavina died peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener. She was 91. Dear mother of John and his wife Donna of Elmira. She will also be lovingly remembered by her two grandchildren, Brittany and Jamie and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert in 1988; parents Magdelena (Streicher) and Noah Leis; brothers Emmanuel and Clayton Leis and sisters Clara Roth and Magdelena MacMillan. Relatives and friends are invite to share their memories of Lavina with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo this evening (Wednesday) from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Thursday from 10 am to 10:45 am. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will follow in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 11 am with Rev. Robert Snell officiating. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for lunch and a time to visit with the family. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
