Over many years we in the community have enjoyed the generosity of the Schneider Family in allowing us to hike and ski in what we affectionately call Schneider's Woods. We, the GVT hikers, especially enjoyed the times when we would meet up with Jane or Fred and have a short chat about the trails. We extend our condolences to Jane and the family.

Fred's values were shown through his daily activities. Thousands of Erbsville Outdoor Education Centre students experienced the joy and beauty and importance of nature, thanks, in part, to the generosity of Fred and Jane. My condolences to Jane and the rest of the family. May the continued respect for nature by many students, help to serve as a thank you for a life well lived.
