Obituary of Deanna Dryland
Late Sunday evening, at St. Mary's Hospital, with Gary at her side, Deanna was released from the illness she had endured over the past year.
Born in Timmins, Ontario in 1956, Deanna spent most of her adult years in the K-W area, where she and Gary met. After 4 years together, they were married on Feb. 19, 1986, and had recently celebrated their 25th anniversary.
Deanna was the cherished sister of Carol (Sheldon) Rideout; Carmen (Paul) Gavereau and their daughter Melissa Bliazs; Darlene, Claude, Jerimie & Jessica Matte; and Ron (Josephine) Kovacs-Ratelle and their daughter Crystal. Also, sadly missed by many aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by both her parents.
Deanna spent time with her friend and mother-in-law, Agnes Dryland, who survives. Gary's siblings will miss her also; Sandy (Bob) Moore, Jean (Chuck Slattery) Hesch , Jim Dryland, Richard (Debbie) Dryland, Brenda (Doug Zeeh) Beutler, Donna (Jan) Ziemerink and Danny (Marg Benedict) Dryland.
Many nieces, nephews will also remember Aunt Deanna.
In addition to her family members, Deanna will be sadly missed by her friends & neighbours. Many close friendships were formed over the years.
As there will be no visitation or service, Gary asks that you each remember Deanna in your own way. She was an artistic, caring individual who will always be remembered for her love of family both near and far, her collections of dolls & figurines, and her love of country music. Deanna also loved animals and her pet cat, Pepper will miss her dearly. Cremation has taken place.
