Obituary of Marjorie May Stickney

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Homer Stickney. Loving mother of John (Dianne) Stickney of Waterloo, and Judy (James) Brady of Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Meghan) Stickney, Paul (Amy) Stickney and Michael (Sarah) Stickney and great-grandmother of Emerson John Stickney, Elora Anne Stickney and Nora Mae Stickney. Predeceased by a sister Dorothy Hutchison (Robert). Marjorie was a long-time volunteer at the St. Mary’s Hospital Auxillary and a member of the Imperial Order Daughter of the Empire. (IODE). Marjorie was also an avid bridge player, golfer and traveller. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marjorie with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. with a Memorial service to celebrate Marjorie’s life at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A reception will immediately follow the memorial service in the Fireside Reception Room. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.
