Obituary of John Arthur William Nind

Passed away peacefully in Toronto, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. John was 94 and lived a long wonderful life full of laughter and love. Dear husband of Joan (nee Bell) for 72 years. Loving father of Carine Nind (Dale Holland), Susan Nind (Mike Lavigne), Ryc Nind (Marcia Brunswiegger), and Ken (Sharon) Nind and Judi Gallagher (Jim Caines). Cherished grandfather of 9 grandchildren: Jason (Nancy) Bolton, Nicole Bolton (Chris Taylor), Kerry Meegan (Eddie Ruyter), Kaelo (Levana) Gallagher, Jasmyn Gallagher, Dustin Gallagher (Flo Leung), Shannon (Dylan) Stuart, Catrin Hughes, Joanna Hughes; and 11 great-grandchildren: Devante, Kyla, Noah, Liko, Colton, Connor, Kali, Kaylem, Olivea, Ava and Piper. Will be fondly remembered by his sisters Patricia Fath, of Florida and Joan Gray, of Napanee. Predeceased by his parents John and Gladys Nind and sister Muriel. Friends are invited to share their memories of John with his family during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. with the memorial service to follow in the chapel at 2 pm. A reception will be held in the Kuntz House immediately after the service.
