Obituary of Kenneth Robert Oliver

Ken passed away, surrounded by family, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Cynthia Parent. Cherished father of Eric Oliver and Claire Oliver. Loved brother of Moreen Donkin (Shawn), of Indiana. Sadly missed by niece Ainslie, of Vancouver and nephews Hugh and Iain, of Indiana. Predeceased by parents Gordon and Viola Oliver. Ken had a 30 plus year career in the computer industry in technical marketing and support. He was a charter member of the Community Spirit Lions Club, Waterloo where he was a liaison to UW School of Optometry Lions Branch, worked in the local Kindergarten Vision Screening Program and fostered three Lions Dog Guide puppies.
