Obituary of Robert G. Miller

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” Miller announce his sudden passing on Friday, March 10th, 2017. Bob was born in County Durham, England and immigrated to Canada in 1965. Beloved husband of Doris Ann Lemon; Loving father of Leslie and Tina Miller, Michael and Jayne Miller, Lindsay Miller, Ann Miller (deceased) and loving stepfather of Susan and Richard Reid and Gary and Irene Downs; Cherished grandfather of Victoria, Sarah (Sam), Nicole (Nick), Carol-Anne (Matt), David, Scott (Shelby), Lindsay, Kristin and Kelly (Rich); Proud great-grandfather of nine. Loved brother of Norman Miller, Audrey Powell, Vincent Miller (deceased) and Miriam Scott (deceased). Lovingly remembered by the Lemon and Aitken families. Bob was predeceased by his wife Mary Miller (2012). Bob was also a lover of history, music, cricket, football, business, walking and nature. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held in The Muskoka Room, Sunshine Centre, Luther Village, 141 Father David Bauer Drive, on Wednesday March 15, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:00pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo with visitation prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Reception to follow in the funeral home’s Kuntz House.
