Obituary of Kathleen Louise Kress

Kay passed away peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the age of 94.

Wife of the late Eldon John Kress (1990).  Loving mother of Ed Kress of Walkerton and Fran Brown and her husband Butch of Renfrew, grandmother of Tammy (Mike), Scott (LeeAnne) and Todd (Chris), and great-grandmother of Nicholas, Savanna, Andrew, and Lily.

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Clara Lipskie, brothers Reg (Margaret), Harvey (Dorothy), Bill (Shirley), Gordon, and sister Ruby Gaelor (Doug).

Kay was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waterloo and the E.L.W. where she volunteered for several committees.  She loved to play cards especially euchre.

Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Kathleen during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Joanne Peppler officiating.  Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.  A reception will follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
