Annette and Chris. I was deeply saddened to hear of your mom's passing. She was a trouper. So helpful to me when I decided to run for office on the UW Staff Association. Her heart was very true. Kept everyone on their toes. That was some 20-25 years ago and we had been friends since then. Sharon, Anne and I will miss our fourth amigo. We had some lovely times together. Each time we got together we would get updates on both of you. She was very proud of you both. I am sorry I was unable to attend either the visitation or the funeral. I am in Wasaga Beach and I personally do not drive. I can best describe as loving, caring and thoughtful. Please accept my sincerest condolences Joanne Wade.

Dear, Chistopher, Annette and Isabella, I worked with your mother/grandmother at the University of Waterloo in the late 1980's and early '90s. After her retirement she joined me and a few other close friends for noon-time walks around campus. We also went on a few garden tours. She had a great sense of humour and a wonderful laugh. I am sorry I am unable to attend the funeral. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Nancy Poole
