Obituary of Anne Smith

Went to be with her Lord and Saviour, peacefully in her sleep, on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 95 years.

Survived by her daughter Judy (Ed) Muegge and son Jerry (Sandra) Smith, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Also survived by her sisters Edith Collins, Evelyn Battler and Alice Evans.

Predeceased by her beloved husband George in 1981, daughter Joan in 2007, son George in 2014 and two sisters Kay and Elizabeth.

Anne worked and continued to volunteer at Sunnyside Home for many years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Kitchener Gospel Temple.  Anne loved her social time, especially shopping and keeping up with her circle of friends.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Anne with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 11 am – 12 pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 12 noon.  A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room and Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
