Obituary of Joyce Annabelle Adams

Joyce passed peacefully at Freeport Hospital on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the age of 97.  Joyce was preceded in death by her sisters Jean Hill (1939) and Alice Palmer (1976).

Loving wife of William (Bill) for 69 years.  Survived by her children Sharon of Waterloo and David (Margaret) of Sherwood Park, Alberta.  Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Scott Ruppenthal (Renee), Amy Weltz (Kyle), Jonathan Adams (Sara) and her great-granddaughter Ella Ruppenthal.

Joyce was very involved in the community throughout her life, including, since childhood, a wide range of activities at Trinity United Church; she led a weekly special needs workshop in Waterloo and was an avid golfer, quilter and painter cherishing all the friendships that blossomed through many decades. 

Family and friends will be received at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Thursday December 7th, at 11:00 a.m.   A reception in the Fireside Reception Room will immediately follow the funeral service.

Our family would like to thank the medical staff of Freeport Hospital, Union Terrace, for their gentle care and compassion during the month of November.  Of particular note we are grateful for the past five years of friendship and kindness shown to Joyce and family by staff at The Village of Winston Park, Williamsburg Neighbourhood.
