My dear May and family,
I was so desperately sorry to hear the news that you had lost Donald. From experience, I know that you will all be feeling utterly bereft in these early days. The only advice I can give is to try and focus on all the earlier, happier times that you spent together before Donald became so ill recently. Look after yourselves and each other too. You will find great strength in the love that surrounds you.
For my part, and Pam's too, we so much enjoyed the times when we met up with you both whenever you were in Newtonmore visiting Bob or on our occasional trips out and about. They meant a great deal to us. I know we have been separated by many miles, but I have always thought of you as neighbours and the loss you endure is shared here. Donald was a lovely man. I shall miss him.
My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.
