Obituary of Donald Jr. Eby

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on December 29, 2017, age 78.

Loving husband of Marilyn for 52 years.  Dear father of David (Dianne) and Doug (Sue).  Cherished grandfather of Cody, Colin, Sarah, Matthew and Tia and great-grandfather of Blake.

He will be fondly remembered by many cousins and extended family.

Predeceased by his parents Donald and Josephine Eby.

Don was a longtime member of St. Agatha RC Church.  He was an active volunteer with Scouts Canada for many years and was a proud member of Gilwell.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday January 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha RC Church, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Dan Lobsinger, C.R. as Celebrant. Reception to immediately follow the mass. A private family interment will be held in the spring at St. Agatha RC Cemetery.
