Dear Doug and Janet,
I was so sorry to read about the passing for your dear mother. I know how close you all were and you will surely miss her a great deal.
It seems so long ago now but also like yesterday when I met your parents in their home on, I think, University Avenue, in Waterloo. I can see the room and the Christmas decorations. Later I recall the times Rick and I visited you at your mom's house. Time passes so quickly, the more so as we get older it seems.
Marj was a lovely and gracious person. I always enjoyed seeing her and hearing her latest news.
I wish we could be at Erb and Good but I live in the boonies in South Cambridge now with Bob who is 87 and getting away at night is difficult.
I would love to see you two some time.
