Obituary of Eva Lenore Martel

Eva Martel passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph on Monday January 1st. Dear wife to the late Donald Martel (1982). Loving mother of Peter Martel (Wendy Harker). Eva moved from her birthplace of Sudbury to Kitchener to be with her son and grandchildren in their time of need. Eva spent many years helping to raise her dear grandchildren Emily, James and Jesse, creating lasting memories of time with Grandma as they grew up.

Survived by sisters Mary Jodouin (Gerry predeceased 1985) and Josephine Vrbanac (Nick) and sister-in-law Olga Felicioni (Guido (Squink) predeceased).

Predeceased by father Dominic Felicioni (1961), mother Gentilina Bianacucci (1938), brothers Beppi Felicioni (1984), Guido (Squink) Felicioni (1990), Frank Felicioni (2002- Margaret 2000) and sister Rose Felicioni (1985).

A very special thank you to Meredith Vrbanac for all the time she spent caring for, and visiting with Eva. You hold a special place in all our hearts.

Family will be invited to a special ceremony and interment in Sudbury this spring.
