Obituary of Gerald Frederick Timm
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, age 76, formerly of Kitchener. Gerry was a business owner and entrepreneur to the local area and PROUD supporter of the race car industry. A beloved husband and father, grandfather and uncle. His passion, making race cars go faster!
Preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Margaret Rose Timm (2011). He is survived by his sister Barb Timm, his three children Leslie Timm Cooper (Kelly), Murray Timm (Wendy), and Valerie Shaw (Scott). Grandchildren Alyssa, Rebekah, Justin, Stacye, Mikayla, Nicholas, Cole, Ryan, Brayton, Tyanna and Rave. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friend Judy Siegner of the last 5 years.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Gerry with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment to immediately follow the service at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo with a reception to be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful people at Hospice Wellington in Guelph. They made his final two weeks the best experience to honour a man deserving of such gifts of love. His peaceful last breaths were taken with his three loving children all holding his hands. If you ever wanted to know the man, just look at his children, said one of the Hospice supporters, you couldn't express a more loving gathering of family full of support.
