Obituary of Helen Margaret Dorsch

Helen passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of Earl Dorsch (2004).  Loved mother of Mary Lou (Dave Smart), Paul, Joel, Joan (Tom Rafter), Anne (Keith Fisher), Rose (Earl MacLeod), and Rita (Jon Fischbach).  Loving grandmother of Michael (Leanne), Suzanne (Steve), Daniel, Kaleigh, Stephanie, Alyssa, Nathan, Tabitha, Austin, Christopher and great-grandmother of Claire, Charlee, Grace and Jameson.  Survived by in-laws Rita and Edmund Bergman, Lorraine Missere, Cathy Bruder, Shirley Dorsch and Phyllis Haley.

She was the last surviving member of her family, predeceased by her parents Leonard Bruder and Matilda (nee Borho), siblings Sister Mary, Leo, Herbert, Frances Reinhart, Elmer and Arthur.

Helen was a founding member of St. Michael’s RC Church and the CWL.

Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s RC Church, 240 Hemlock St. (at University Ave.), Waterloo on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Perrin as Celebrant.  Reception to follow in the parish hall.  Private burial to be held at St. Boniface RC Cemetery, Maryhill.
