Obituary of Dana Elizabeth Trude

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Friday January 12, 2018, age 56 with her husband by her side.  Dana was the survivor of a double lung and heart transplant in 2006.  Her recovery was tremendous and she had the ability to continue to enjoy life and give back to her community by volunteering for a number of years with Trillium Gift of Life Network.

 

Loving and cherished wife of Sam, for 30 years. Dear mother of Karra, Justin,  Joshua and Dana’s cherished and only grandson, Jayden (Justin’s son). Will be forever remembered by her brothers Brian (Lynn) Scheifele, Brett (Kim) Scheifele; father Douglas Scheifele and many nieces and nephews.

 

Predeceased by her mother Renate (nee Prast) Scheifele.

 

She worked for over 30 years with KW Habilitation Services, Kitchener.

 

At Dana’s request cremation has taken place.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
