Obituary of Lloyd John Dorscht

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in his 82nd year.

Loving partner to Carol Freiburger for 23 years and dear husband of the late Sharon Lee Dorscht (nee Harnock).

Lloyd leaves behind his beloved family, daughters Debbie and husband Jeff Sauder, Laurie Schumacher and partner David Krysko, Linda and husband Harry Dietrich and his son Jason Dorscht; grandchildren Randi and Faiz Hassanzada, Candice and Bryan Tansley, Amber and Josh Gualtieri, Joshua Dietrich, Carrie-Anne Dietrich and Chrissy Degen, Dallas Dietrich, Justin Sauder and Hope Natywary; Ashley Sauder and Mike Miedema, Cory Schumacher and Kristen Defrancesco and Eric Schumacher and Danielle Rex; great grandchildren Cecilia, Jaxson, Maddox, Bentley, Avery, Mya, Decan, Addisson, Tatum and Mila.

Also survived by a brother Harold Dorscht and his wife Jessie, a sister Erma Darechuk and a sister-in-law Alice Dorscht.

Lloyd will be missed by Carol’s family Barry, Brad, Bruce and their families, along with the Harnock family.

Predeceased by his parents Allan and Louisa (nee Helm) Dorscht, son-in-law Craig Schumacher, brother Roy Dorscht and brother-in-law John Darechuk.

Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Lloyd with his family during visitation on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Reception in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
