Obituary of Jeannette Louise Pullin
Passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener.
Survived and will be deeply missed by her loving husband Robert; sisters Francis Miehm (Wilfred), Amelia Evans (George), Helen Shanahan (Jack); brothers Louis Paleczny (Janice) and Ronald Paleczny (Alice); nephews Allan Lis (Donna), Paul Lis (Mary Ann), Ron Paleczny (Michelle), Larry Paleczny (Alicia), Murray Miehm, Louis John Paleczny (Jay), Jerry Suska (Lorraine), Jim Suska (Donelda) and Rick Liszak (Chris); nieces Beverly Birch (Jim), Janice Kuntz (John), Cherylann Grace (Archie), Lynn Giffon (Robert), Lorianne Paleczny, Kathleen Stankowitsch (Mike), Sandra Paleczny and Marilyn Moser (Jim) and their children Megan and Richard, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews. Also survived by Sister-in-law Joyce (Woodstock), Gary and Marie Pullin (London), Ron Pullin (London) and niece Shirley Shaw (Wayne).
Predeceased by her parents Louis and Natalia Paleczny; sisters Ann Tschirhart (Rip), Jenny Liszak (John) and Angela Lis (Walter); nephews Donald Suska, Gary Miehm and Thomas Paleczny; sister-in-law Sharon and brothers-in-law Kenneth Pullin and David Pullin.
Jan was a dedicated and true friend to all who knew her. She was an avid participant in decorating our home at Christmas and Easter. Our friends and family admired her creative work. She had a fine collection of over 50 dolls on display at special times. Jan and Bob ballroom danced for many years and enjoyed bridge and other games with friends and family.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Jeanette with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s RC Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. David Walter as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
Reception will follow the interment at St. Michael’s RC Church Hall.
