Obituary of Laura Lynn Murakami

Laura passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 as the result of a brain tumour during her one year battle with breast cancer.

Laura is survived by her husband of 17 years, James Murakami, her children Ethan and Emily, parents Gary and Florence Hackbart, sister Gen Arthur and husband Rob, niece Natalie, and nephew Matthew.

Laura’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Visitation will continue at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 22 Willow Street, Waterloo on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 1-1:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary.  A reception will immediately follow in the church hall.
