Obituary of Lloyd McDonald
Passed away in his 85th year, at Freeport Hospital on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Resided in Waterloo for over 40 years.
Husband of Mildred (nee Higgins). Father of Brenda and her husband Terry of Waterloo, Lorran and her husband Elias of London, Scott and his wife Tara of Waterloo, Cheryl and her husband Brian of Mississauga. Will be remembered by nine grandchildren: Graeme, Heather, Hailey, Alanna, Braedan, Michael, Mark, Mary, and Matthew. Survived by sister Vina.
Lloyd was born in Teeswater and was a son of the late Annie and Alexander MacDonald.
In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by brothers Barthold, Eugene, Jack, Arnold, Ken, and 2 sisters, Phronie and Grace.
He attended First United Church, Waterloo and was a member of the Carpenters Local 27 Union of Toronto for over 50 years.
Lloyd's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11 a.m., Rev. Kellie McComb officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo after the reception.
