Obituary of John Neufeld

February 8, 1936 – February 25, 2018

Passed away peacefully early Sunday morning February 25, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener.

Dear brother of Tina Plenert, of Abbotsford BC, Frieda Neufeld, of Burlington and Fred Neufeld, of Guelph.  John is survived by two daughters, nieces and nephews.

John was the son of the late Johann and Maria (nee Letkemann) Neufeld, of the Ukraine (1926).

Predeceased by his wife Joyce (2009), brother Jacob and his wife Justina Neufeld, of Kitchener and sister-in-law Ingrid Neufeld, of Guelph (2016).

John was a member of the Waterloo-Kitchener United Mennonite Church, Waterloo.  John was the owner of Neufeld Electric for many years.

Friends are invited to share their memories of John with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday March 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with the funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m., Rev. Ben Cassels as officiant. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Private family interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
