Obituary of Joyce Manston

Joyce passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by her family, at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Saturday, February 24, 2018, in her 97th year.

Predeceased by Albert Manston, her husband of nearly 60 years; sister, Sylvia Clark and her husband John; and niece, Terry Whaley.

Loving Mum of Janet Manston, aunt of Linda and David Woodhall, Richard Whaley, John and Juanita Clark, and Lesley Clark; great-aunt of Wendy Woodhall (Brad), Nancy Woodhall (Mark), Joanne Woodhall (Scott), Amanda Whaley, Ben Whaley (Sara), Jonathan Clark, Joel Clark (Lindsay), Katie Saunders (Jordan), and Kelsey Heeley; great-great-aunt of James, Elyse, Mya, Sean, Indigo, Jack, Ava, and Lily.

Joyce was born in London, England and emigrated to Canada with her family in 1957. She will be remembered as a generous, thoughtful, caring, and loving lady. Joyce was quiet, but strong. She will be missed by all.

A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at 2 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room.
