Obituary of George Robertson

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 79. 

Survived by his wife of 54 years Isobel Robertson, his son Graham and his wife Tina. His daughter Elaine Grgich and her husband Joe. Grandchildren Sheldon and Rebecca Robertson, Olivia and Matthew Grgich. His brother Bill (Nancy), his sisters Pat Brown, Linda (Tom) Susan Gourley and his many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Isabella Robertson.

George immigrated to Canada in 1972 and worked at NCR. Shortly after George and his two business partners founded Trimaster MFG in Guelph ON. George was a member of the Pasadena Yacht and Country Club in Gulfport Florida where he was an avid golfer and active member. George occasionally enjoyed a game of snooker from time to time.

A Memorial Reception to celebrate George’s life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
