Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the age of 87 years.

Survived by loving wife of just under 60 years, Marianne, his two sons Michael (Lynn) and Thomas (Heather), his grandchildren Shannon, Kurtis and Dennis as well as his siblings and their families in Germany.

Emil worked in the steel industry and lived in Hamilton for many years and came to Kitchener in his retirement. He will be remembered as a kind and caring man.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Emil’s life will be held at Grace Mennonite Brethren Church, 546 Belmont Avenue West, Kitchener on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 am.  Cremation has taken place.
