Obituary of Louise Feeney
The family of Louise Feeney is very sad to announce her death on March 19th at Innisfree House in her 100th year. Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Hubert in May 2000. She was the last surviving member of the family of Andrew Bender and Mathilda Scheffner, predeceased by sisters Irene (Henry) Brenner and Rita (Bob) Golds and brothers Gilbert (Nellie) Bender and Carl (Helen) Bender.
She is survived by her 4 loving children, Marjorie (Terry deceased 2003) Hallman, Joanne (Frank) Shewchuk, Carole Forsyth and Jim (Leslie) Feeney. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Sheri (Charlie) Tease, David Hallman, Paul (Julia) Shewchuk, Thomas Shewchuk, Ian (Tricia) Forsyth, Jean (David) Hébert and Tara (Steve Snyder) and 9 great grandchildren.
Louise worked at Audio Transformer for many years. During retirement she engaged actively in many senior activities and especially playing cards. She was a member of the CWL and the Retired Knights of Columbus and belonged to St. Agnes and St. Louis parishes for over 70 years.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Louise with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo on Friday March 23, 2018 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Aleksander Mazur as Celebrant. Interment to follow the mass at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception will be held in the parish hall.
