I recieved word of Johnnys passing.I am saddened by this news.My sympathy to all of you.Johnny was a friend of mine at WFS back in the middle to late seventies.The days when there was only one mill there.I used to have some nice talks with Johnny..Always appreciated him..As God recieves him into his kingdom may he also grant you all peace... This past Monday I lost my oldest brother Johnny ,who sometimes seemed more like a second dad along with my other brother Hal. Johnny took it upon himself to try and help raise me after our dad passed away in 1975, I was only 6 when our father passed away so I'll always be grateful that he tried his best to help our mother raise me properly with a strong male influence and I know it couldn't have been easy for him and his wife (Beattie) at the time because they had 3 sons of their own to raise , they always seemed more like my little brothers than my nephews I was at their home so much but I just wanted to say thank you big brother and that I love you for being there when I needed you the most , may you rest in peace brother ,please tell Jesus I say hello.

I am so very sorry and shocked to hear of Johnny`s passing. I worked with Johnny at Wallenstein Feed and Supply starting in 1974. We enjoyed lots of good times together including our interest in Biking . I often think of him sitting beside his Purple Dodge Demon eating his lunch on the front lawn. We will miss John at our GWRRA meetings. John was such a kind caring man, we were so glad he was part of our group. We enjoyed many rides with him. Rest well John, until we meet again!

On Monday morning, I woke to hear that my brother John had passed away through the night. John was not just my brother, he was my lifelong friend. We never spoke without ending with I love you, brother. As a boy, he was my protector. He allowed me to be part of his group of friends. When he could have chose to take a friend to the Leaf games, instead he took me. He was also, my golf partner, and I will miss him beside me on the golf course. We have shared a life time of memories. I'm so grateful that the last words I have to remember him by are, Love You, Brother. Good bye, my dear brother and friend. You will never be forgotten.
