Obituary of Shirley Ann Toews

Passed away peacefully at The Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care Facility on March 27, 2018 at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Arthur Toews. Dear mother of Penny Robbins (Gerry) of Peterborough, Allen Toews (Theresa) of Waterloo, Cindy Melloul (Mike) of Huntsville and Jim Toews (Betty) of Conestogo. Loving grandmother of Cheri Petch, Jason Petch, Melisa Melloul and Christine Melloul. Great-grandmother of Sylvie, Evelyn, Shannon and Haylea. Shirley is survived by her brother Harold Harmer (Elaine), her brother-in-law John Toews (Ingrid), her sister-in-law Vernita Phillips, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ken and Gwen Harmer (née Steel) and her daughter Cheri Toews in infancy, and by her in-laws Frank and Anna Toews.

 

Special thanks to the kind and caring staff and medical professionals at Chartwell Westmount LTCF. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment of cremated remains will take place in Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo.
