Obituary of Leola McNaughton

Leola died peacefully Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Trinity Village Long Term Care Facility in Kitchener. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald (2004) of 50 years.

She was a loving Mom who will be greatly missed by her children Les and Barb, Heather and Ed. She was Gramma to Taylor, Blair, Alexandra and Cassidy. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Fern and Marion and their families.  Leola’s sweet demeanor and kind personality will be missed by all who knew her.

The care Leola and her family received at Trinity Village was exceptional and comforting beyond our expectations.  During the last years of Leola’s life, she faced dementia bravely with her strong faith in God.

The family would like to thank Rev. Dr. Roger Winger for his many visits to Mom and words of comfort and peace.

A memorial service celebrating Leola’s life will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Historic St. Paul’s Church, 137 Queen St. S., Kitchener, at 2:00 p.m. There will be a brief period of visitation at the church from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Cremation has taken place.  After the service a light lunch will follow in the church basement.
