Obituary of LaVerne Schedler

LaVerne passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, April 22, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Wiarton on April 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Violet and Edward Hodgins.

LaVerne leaves behind her beloved husband William Schedler (of 58 years), her loving children Sherri (Curt) Schickler, Kim (Colin) Brown, Kelly (Todd) DeBrusk and Shane Schedler. Predeceased by son Scott.

Remembered by her grandchildren Nick, Jodi, Katie, Zak, Jade, Georgia, Emma, Eliza, Darcy, Tessa and a great grandchild Olivia.

Also survived by sisters Katherine (Gord) Hardman, Winnie Biernes, Claire (Murray) Dahms and Barbara Wallace.

She was a long-time member of the New Apostolic Church, Waterloo. LaVerne was a Super Senior of the Breithtaup Recreation Centre (workout group) for 20 plus years.

Cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
