I met Elsie about 15 years ago at a support group when we were all trying to cope with losing our beloved spouses. Elsie was a joy in our group, and a few ladies in that group kept up an informal coffee meeting group which, over the years, transformed into beautiful friendships.
When Elsie moved to Toronto, it left a huge hole in the group; even travelling to Christie Gardens to visit her, was not enough. We missed her in our midst!
Elsie had words of wisdom, anecdotes that incited laughter, and a way of looking at the world in a straightforward no-nonsense manner. She became a much-loved friend. We will miss her terribly. My sincere sympathy to all members of her family. Elsie knew she was loved. ❤
