Obituary of Elizabeth McBain

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Hilltop Manor on June 23, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert, her five children, Valerie (Scott) Braid, Sue (Kevin) Perry, Ken McBain, Colin McBain (Jill Steinman) and Martha (Peter) Bellamy, her grandchildren, Stephanie Braid (Drew Broda), Ian Braid, Leah (Ryan) Walter, Jenna Quinn (Leif Wynia) Dayne Perry (Katie Allen), Ben and Jack McBain, Madelyn, Erika and Grace Bellamy, as well as two great grandchildren Spencer and Charlee Walter.  Betty is also survived by her brother Ben (Doreen) Brackenbury and was predeceased by her brother Ken Brackenbury and sister Ruthmary Lawless. 

Friends are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s RC Church, 240 Hemlock Street, Waterloo on Thursday, June 28 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Interment will take place at St. Peter’s RC Cemetery, London at a later date.
