To Tracie's family, My sincere condolences. I am only learning about Tracie's passing now. I received counselling support from Tracie several years back. I myself am a psychotherapist, and us psychotherapists are known to be the worst clients, always trying to wrangle full control from their therapists. I was cautious, then pleasantly surprised, then relieved and impressed. Tracie showed incredible skills and grace, demonstrated genuine respect of my values and compassion for my struggles, and with patience, skill and persistence, guided me forward. I will be forever grateful for her firm but gentle coaching. Please know that she will be missed in the psychotherapy world, both by colleagues and clients alike. We are so very sorry for the loss of Tracie, wife, mother and sister, woman of courage and a good friend. We got to know each other as colleagues in the counselling field and then on our travels to supervision and QA days together. She would often provide insight, humour and wisdom. Determined, strong, compassionate and dedicated clinician .... she will be greatly missed. This has been a long, hard battle with cancer which has been fought with dignity and grace.
While we grieve the loss of dear Tracie, heaven is celebrating her homecoming.
