Obituary of Vernon Gonsalves

Vern Gonsalves passed away peacefully in his 88th year on July 17, 2018 surrounded by his beloved wife Jackie and his loving family.

Proud father to Jennifer, Lisa, Michelle and Kelly and their husbands.  Loving grandpa to Graeme & Russell; Scott, Eric & Cory; Andrew, Daniel & Jason; Justin & Julia.  Dear son of the late Julio and Veronica. Brother of Stella and the late John, Ivor and Sister Jude.

Vern was an avid gardener, sports fan and enjoyed travelling, especially to Barbados in the winter.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to a reception in the church hall immediately following the service.
