Obituary of Helen Sernoskie

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo at the age of 86.

 

Survived by her daughter Nancy Hilliard (Philip), two grandchildren Andrew Hilliard and Stephanie Fraser (Jason) and two great-grandchildren Isabella and Vivienne Fraser. She will be remembered by her sisters, Anita Sernoskie, Mary Leblanc and brother Emery Fougere. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

She was predeceased by her husband Edward Sernoskie (2004), her sister Alma Casey and brother Edward Fougere.

 

The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctor at Parkwood Mennonite Nursing Home for the many years of wonderful care for Helen.

 

To honour Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in celebration of her life at a later date.
