Obituary of Loretta Jean Elliott

Loretta passed away surrounded by family at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the age of 87. Loretta was predeceased by her beloved husband John Elliott in 2016. Loving mother of James (Pam), Nancy, and Susan (Sam).  Cherished grandmother of Carolyn (Mike) and Matthew (Shaylon), Katerina (Chris) and Elliott (Jessica) and great-grandmother of Owen, Gabriella, and Dominic. 

Predeceased by her parents Thomas Sosnoski and Elsie Martin; her sisters Mary and Helen and brother Frank.

 Loretta is also survived by her beloved brothers Thomas and Richard. Loretta felt a personal loving connection with her niece Michelle and often shared her love for numerous nieces and nephews.

Loretta was an avid curler and loved to watch all televised curling matches. She shared a special love of travel with her husband John and explored many locations in North America and Europe. Loretta also had a great fondness for the family cottage at Bayfield and spent many happy times there.

A private family interment was held at the Bayfield Cemetery and a memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
