Obituary of William "Bill" James Schumacher
Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Mennonite Home LTC, Waterloo on Thursday August 16, 2018, at the age of 89 years.
Beloved husband of the late Eva (nee Kraft) Schumacher (2015). Loving father of Robert (Christel), Debbie, Alan (Suzanne). Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Corey) Patterson, Michael (Kim), Joseph and James (Maddie Jewson); great-grandfather of Emmajayne and Kaiden Gates and Will Schumacher. Dear brother of Richard (Marg), Elaine Fries, Marlene (Earl) Seip, Joan (Dave) Sainsbury, and Betty (Ken) Voisin. Also survived by the Kraft family, Mickie Kraft, Gord (Phyrl) Kraft and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Norman and Marjorie (nee Heller) Schumacher, brother Jack (Audrey), brothers-in-law John Frise, Harvey Kraft, Leonard (Mae) Kraft and Orville (Mary) Kraft.
Bill was born in St. Jacobs and was a life-long resident of Waterloo. He was an avid motorsports enthusiast.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday August 19, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A private funeral service will be a time of remembrance by the family.
