Obituary of Patricia Marilynne Anne Laurette

We are saddened to share with you the passing of our deeply loved Mom, Patricia Marilynne Anne (Walton) Laurette, on Sunday, September 30, 2018 due to a heart attack.

Mom was born on November 13, 1936 in Kitchener to Fred and Beatrice (Payette) Walton. It was at a dance in the St. Louis Church gym she met the love of her life Raymond Laurette. They married in 1956 at St. Louis R.C. Church.  Mom is joining Dad who passed away in February, 2017.  They were married for 62 years.

Mom worked for Bell Canada and the Waterloo Credit Union before taking over as Manager of the St. Vincent du Paul Thrift Store, Kitchener which she managed for 20 years.  Mom and Dad were members of St. Teresa of Avila Parish Kitchener for over 35 years.  She was also a member of Catholic Women’s League and was very active in the Cursillo Movement and the Society of St. Vincent du Paul.

Mom joined her parents, Fred and Beatrice (Payette) Walton and brothers Doug and Amy Walton of Owen Sound and Greg Walton of Waterloo.  She is dearly missed by her sisters Frances Walton of Waterloo and Marion and Dale Roeder of Kitchener.
