Obituary of Susan Wilma Holst

HOLST, Susan Wilma (nee Schwindt)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Monday October 8, 2018, at the age of 86.

Dear mother of Debbie (Henry), Fred (Carol), Doug (Lori) and Linda (Paul).

Loving grandma of Brent and Andrea, John and Steven, Dustin, Tanner and Taylor, Laura and Jennifer. Survived by 5 great grandchildren.

Also survived by a sister Eileen Gingrich, sister-in-law Marion Schwindt and brother-in-law Lorne Martin.

Remembered by sisters-in-law Grace, Ellen and Mae Holst and Joanna Ropp.

Predeceased by her husband Walter Holst in 1973, and daughter Gwendolyn in infancy, sister Melba and brothers Homer, Arnold, Floyd, Bruce, Ward and Howard.

Susan was a member of W-K United Mennonite Church in Waterloo; a retired employee with Grand River Hospital for over 25 years.

Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Susan with her family during visitation on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo.

The Memorial Service to celebrate her life and faith will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 3p.m. with Pastor Ben Cassels officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Reception to follow in the Historic Kuntz House.
