Obituary of Eldene "Brownie" Martin

Eldene passed away, peacefully, at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

 

Eldene was a Registered Nurse in Dundas and Hamilton. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Martin in 2007 and was a loving mother to John “Jack” Martin, Carolyn Martin, Ken Martin (Ella Plan Morales), and Doug Martin (Melissa); cherished Nana to Kimberlee Potter, John Cartmel, Jennifer Geddes, Kirsten Martin, Rachel Martin, Tami Martin-Estabrooks, Melanie Farthing, Tyler Martin, Kin Plan, Quinnie Plan, Michelle Martin and Shelley Martin and precious Nana to great-grandchildren Samantha, Justin, Deacon, Natalie, Lila, Sophie, and Julia.  Also survived by her sister Eileen Heatherington and brother Ron Lee (Anne).

 

Predeceased by her sister Jean Benish (Eddie) and brother Mel Lee (Mary).

 

Cremation will take place and a private family interment and celebration of life will be held.
