Dear Shirley and family,
Bill and I were so sad to hear of Abner's passing. He has persevered through so many health challenges in this life. He is home now.
I remember mom and dad (David and Alice Cressman) speaking about Abner's musical achievements and scholarship. Their respect and admiration for his dedication to sacred choral music stayed with me - I was always in awe of him! In reading his obituary it is clear he was not only a gifted and talented musician but also a thoughtful and sensitive soul whose legacy will live on in the community in which he lived. I will always remember him as a quiet, gentle man who loved the farm!
