Obituary of James Andrew Martin

James passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waterloo on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the age of 84.

 

He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Luz Maria (de Silva) on January 7, 2017.  Dear father of Charles Martin (Rhonda Martin) of Tottenham, William Martin of Kitchener, Alfonso Martin (Bonnie Lidstone-Martin) of Ottawa, and Arthur Martin of St. Catharines.  Loving grandfather of Aiden, Katalina and Kristina.  James is survived by his brother Clem Martin and sister Doris Kavanaugh (Cecil Kavanaugh).

 

Predeceased by his parents, Louis Martin and Marianne Weiler and his brothers and his sisters. 

 

Friends are invited to share their memories of James with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s RC Church, 80 University Ave. W., Waterloo on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Walter as Celebrant.  Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery in Waterloo will follow.  A reception will be held in St. Michael’s R.C. Church Hall following interment.
