My sincere condolences on the loss of your mom. I only met Aunt Effie a few times, many years ago. I am her sister Eileen's granddaughter(Gary's daughter). My dad always spoke very highly of her. She sent him a card every year for his birthday as well as at Christmas. A very thoughtful woman who always put her family first. You are in our thoughts. She will be watching over all of you.

To Effie's family My sister and I didn't see Effie and Bernie often as the years passed though we always enjoyed the conversations. Effie was a fine woman. I last saw her at Bernie's visitation a year ago. Bernie's mother (Aunt Lucy) and our mother (Lorene) were sisters. We enjoyed many visits to the homes of Aunt Lucy and Uncle Russ in Harriston and at the farm outside Palmerston. A long rich life. I know she will be missed. Take care Larry

Heaven has certainly gained a beautiful soul! We send are most heartfelt condolences to all Effie’s loved ones, in their loss of a wonderful woman. We met through the Erbs in Hensall & became Bernie & Effie’s ins agent a number of years ago. I loved to hear about the last, or the upcoming daughter’s/Mom wkd away, each time we visited.
