Obituary of Harry Kyle Moore
Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 90.
Loving husband of Bette (nee Davies) Moore for nearly 70 years. Dear father of Terry (Shirley), Robert, Jan Moore (Peter Barkman), Judy Moore Martin (David Martin). Will be fondly remembered and missed by his grandchildren Devon, Kyle, Eric, Kate, Andrew, Aislinn, Ian, Alix, Duncan, Josh, MacLean, Liam, and was able to hug and kiss his 4 great-grandbabies Ilija, Maeby, Miles and Flora.
Predeceased by his parents Billy and Kate Moore of Guelph.
Harry was a longtime active member of Church of St. John the Evangelist, Kitchener. He loved sports whether cheering on his children and grandchildren or playing a round of golf at Westmount. Harry’s first career was in the lumber business starting at age eighteen in Guelph. His second career was in real estate in the Region of Waterloo. He was very involved in his community as a past member of both Sertoma and Rotary.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Harry with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday December 17, 2018 from 3 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Church of St. John the Evangelist, 23 Water St. N., Kitchener on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. The reception will immediately follow in the church hall. Interment of cremated remains will follow in the Spring.
