Obituary of Bill Schneider

Passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 70 years.

Loving husband of Dianne.  Dear father of Jason and Emily, and her husband Edward Schroeder. Loving grandfather of Emma, Michael, Joshua, and Elle. Cherished brother to Shirley Ann Schneider.

Bill liked to work hard and operated the family business, Schneider Sand & Gravel Limited, est. 1921.  He was the third generation to run the business.

Bill looked forward to his winter holiday each year in Florida so he could ride his motorcycle which was one of his great passions.

Bill was a loving father who provided everything his children could have hoped for.  He will be remembered for his sense of humour and a love of music and good food.  He was also a gifted artist and enjoyed the company of a wonderful group of friends.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 4-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow the service with interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
