Obituary of Margaret Ann Van Koughnett

Margaret passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love from her family, at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener on Saturday, January 19, 2019.

Predeceased by her father Alex Muir, mother Anne (Ozzie) Van Koughnett, brothers Alex and Bill, and sister Helen (Bill) LaMarsh.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband Cliff Demers, sons Fred Van Koughnett (Kathie), Sean Van Koughnett (Cindy), sisters Marilyn Brown and Barb (Mike) Roussel, her wonderful grandchildren Hannah and Ethan, special nieces and nephew Charity, Ryan, and Sarah, and many other nieces and nephews.

Margaret loved being “Grammy” and she will be very sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Margaret during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 10-11:45 a.m.  The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 12 noon.
